Brain matrices, SS and chrome, 2mm

Brain Matrices allow for precise, reproducible freehand slicing of coronal or sagittal sections enabling precise blocking prior to microtome sectioning. All-metal design with a hard, durable chrome coating with 2mm slice divisions for large brains.

They may be heated, sterilised, chilled and scrubbed clean without damaging the surfaces. To keep tissue cool and viable, chill matrices before use. Immediate soaking in liquid cleaner is advisable after use.
