PELCO Fortress FIB holder and sample loader, pin mount

The PELCO Fortress FIB Holder (former South Bay Technology Fortress FIB Holder) is used for TEM sample preparation and secure storage of FIB grids with lamella attached. Made from vacuum grade aluminium with stainless steel thumbscrew. FIB lift-out grids are clamped securely in place by a tensioned spring without the need for adhesives, and the sample loader makes it easy to load samples. Compatible with pin stub desiccators or other pin stub storage container, this holder is suitable for all FIB/SEM systems which accept pin mount holders such as Thermo Fisher Scientific/FEI, ZEISS and Tescan systems. For the JEOL and Hitachi systems a pin mount adapter is needed.
