PELCO vacuum desiccator for SEM mounts
The PELCO vacuum desiccator for SEM mounts can holds both M4 cylinder and pin stub mounts for vacuum storage to eliminate contamination, dust and prevent oxidisation of samples. Acrylic clear lid for easy locating of samples. Made of blue anodised aluminium, silicon O-rings and metal vacuum valve with PTFE shaft seal makes it suitable for pumping down to 10-3mbar. Capable of holding vacuum for many weeks it is deal for storing, transporting and shipping samples and calibration standards.
Specifications M4 cylinder:
- Size without vacuum valve is 76mm diameter x 35mm
- Cavity height is 13.7mm, allows for 7mm specimen height
- Capacity of 5 x 15mm diameter or 2 x 25mm diameter M4 mounts
- Holds Hitachi M4 mounts secure on M4 screw adapters
- Use a small vacuum pump to evacuate, 6.35mm barb fitting
