NanoSoft dewar dryer racks

The Dewar Dryer Rack provides a compact, convenient way to organise and reliably dry your 4L LN₂ dewars. The ubiquitous 4L dewars are the workhorse dewar for many labs. After use, moisture condenses on the inner surface of the dewar and there has not been a convenient, reliable way to dry them quickly so that the next user can be assured that they are moisture-free and ready to use for their experiments without the risk of water contamination.

Active Dewar Dryer Rack - automatically starts a drying cycle upon placing a dewar, drying it out completely in 35 minutes.

Passive Dewar Dryer Rack - provides a way to organise your 4L dewars after being dried on the Active Dewar Dryer Rack.

To dry a 4L dewar, it is placed upside-down onto the Active Dewar Dryer Rack with the drying tube inserted into the dewar. The dewar is automatically sensed when placed, starting a drying cycle. Ambient air is pulled through a filter, ensuring only clean air is being used, and heated before being blown into the dewar. The system is configured to run for as much time as needed to dry the dewar completely, and a short cooling phase is included at the end to bring the dewar to room temperature. An LED under the rack indicates the stage of the drying cycle and when the drying cycle is complete.

The passive version of the Dewar Dryer Rack then provides a convenient way to organise all of your 4L dewars after being taken off of the active version, freeing the active rack to dry another dewar.
