Rodent brain matrices, SS
Brain Matrices allow for precise, reproducible coronal or sagittal sections enabling precise blocking prior to microtome sectioning. Made of highly polished, precision machined stainless steel with 0.5mm and 1mm slice divisions.
They may be heated, sterilised, chilled and scrubbed clean without damaging the surfaces. To keep tissue cool and viable, chill matrices before use. Immediate soaking in liquid cleaner is advisable after use.
They are ideal for precise and reproducible blocking of fixed tissue in:
